EDePro and GPTS at FIA 2026
Propulsion Breakthroughs 29 July, 2026From 20–24 July, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) once again represented the apex of aviation - a global meeting point for aerospace, defence, and space industries, and a platform where innovation and collaboration shape the future.
Among the exhibitors, EDePro, in partnership with Green Power Turbine Systems (GPTS), presented a portfolio of propulsion technologies designed to meet evolving defence and aerospace requirements. Driven by innovation and a commitment to future challenges, EDePro showcased advanced propulsion solutions that combine performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Through GPTS, the company introduced a family of compact turbojet and turboshaft engines tailored for UAVs, target drones, helicopters, and light aircraft. Professionals at FIA2026 witnessed the latest turbojet innovations capable of generating nearly 400 daN of thrust, achieved through a multi-stage axial-compressor architecture and optimized turbine design. Complementing this, the turboprop system delivers 200 kW continuous power, configured with a radial compressor–turbine gas generator coupled with a free axial turbine linked to a gearbox - a design ensuring efficiency, durability, and adaptability across diverse mission profiles.
By combining technical excellence with operational versatility, EDePro and GPTS reaffirmed their role as innovators in aerospace propulsion. Their presence at Farnborough underscored the importance of advanced engine technologies in shaping the future of defence and aviation.
