A6 AND A8 ANTI-HAIL ROCKETS

A modern reality of hail suppression

EDePro | Anti-hail A6/A8
A New Generation of Anti-Hail Rockets for More Protection

THE A6

The A6 is a 55 mm anti-hail rocket that resulted from EDePro’s efforts in developing modern technological solutions and automated systems, which are more accurate and effective and which require lower costs and less workforce engagement. It is easy to use, entailing only a few hours of training to master the operating system. Since the container can emulate the launcher, the rocket can be launched from its own container, either as a single projectile or as a salvo of rockets, at a speed higher than 80 m/s. The A6 also has a robust design and it consists of a thermoplastic material that does not cause pollution. As for self-destruction, it occurs at a safe altitude with completely harmless debris, and has contributed to the worldwide operational use of AHR A6.

THE A8

As another 55 mm anti-hail rocket, the A8 can carry 400 g of reagent and disperse it at high altitudes, in a period between 35 and 43 seconds. Its system is composed of a rocket and six reusable containers placed on the launcher. Just like the A6 system, it can be launched as a single rocket or as a salvo. In addition, its high scalability allows launching from different launchers – entailing minimum modifications to the launcher itself. Two independent pyrotechnic timers ensure that the rocket self-destructs in a timely manner. As for its propellant grain, it consists of a composite thermoplastic propellant and inhibitor. The combustion chamber is made of glass-epoxy composites, while the nozzle includes glass-phenolic material.
