PRECISION IN ACTION
ALAS XX Advances Toward Full-Rate Production 21 February, 2025EDePro is announcing the successful completion of a critical field test of its 5th generation multipurpose cruise missile, the ALAS XX. The demonstration, conducted in Serbia, once again showcased the missile's precision strike capabilities and its readiness for integration into the Serbian military's arsenal. With this achievement, EDePro is now a significant step closer to commencing full-scale production of the ALAS XX ensuring to meet the operational needs of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the exercise, the EDePro team executed one precise strike in Non-Line-of-Sight (NLoS) scenario, confirming the ALAS XX ability to accurately engage targets at a range of up to 25 kilometers. This milestone reaffirms the ALAS XX's position as a leading guided munition in domestic production and the first Serbian artillery weapon capable of firing missiles when integrated into the modular self-propelled missile launcher “OGANJ”.
The ALAS XX is designed with an Inertial Navigation System (INS) and an imaging homing head (HH), enabling it to track targets accurately while executing low-profile flights to evade radar detection. The HH subsystem consists of a seeker, TV CCD or IR sensor with a gyro-stabilised frame and a computer. Our company is currently focused on further enhancing the ALAS missile family that we are developing in cooperation with the state-owned company Yugoimport SDPR, to ensure Serbian Armed Forces remain at the forefront of modern warfare technology.
This successful test represents a key milestone that initiates the official acceptance testing process and marks the final phase in the research and development effort. The ALAS XX's outstanding performance not only underscores its effectiveness in modern combat scenarios but also validates our rigorous development process and our commitment to delivering advanced defense technology to the Serbian Armed Forces.
